Operation Mincemeat Manchester Theatre reviews
Zzzzzzzzz at Melbouring King Center
The band performed like the Operation Mincemeat of past, partly because the crowd was not really an Operation Mincemeat crowd. When hordes of people left during the "blues hour," it was evident. Billy Gibbons clearly picked up on that as did the Dusty & Frank. The crowd came to life off their seats during the last 6 songs, muchly because those were the hits and all that the crowd knew. I have seen Operation Mincemeat over 20+ times in 5 different states, and the crowd Friday night was more of local people who heard Operation Mincemeat was coming into our backyard and figured they knew some songs so what the heck, "let's check them out." This was my 1st chance to see Operation Mincemeat 10 mins from my home and it went down as the biggest disappointment of all the tours I've seen.
